A Heart for Health was established for two reasons : to impact weight loss and create wellness in the Atlanta Metropolitain area. This group was created to connect like-minded people with our team of Certified Health Coaches and Certified Nordic Walking Instructors. Our events will revolve around Weekly Nordic Walking and various other monthly meet-ups.

A group of fun adult Type 1 diabetics who may or may not use insulin pumps. We banded together to talk about what issues we face, what works, what doesn't work and just enjoy meeting other people going through the same daily things we are going through.

Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and overall bad health and eating habits. Being overweight is not cute, it's a health hazard and we have to start SAVING OURSELVES. JDRF is a global organization dedicated to curing, treating and preventing Type 1 diabetes. The goal of  the JDRF Cherokee support group is to provide information, support and connections to other families with type 1 diabetes in and around Cherokee County. We are planning monthly meetings, quarterly events and other activities as well. This group will be made up of nurses and other health care professionals who wants to help the senior community. We can teach our seniors about medications, blood pressure monitoring, diabetic monitoring, healthy diet and identifying certain risk factors, etc. etc. We can meet monthly at a convenient location in the McDonough square. We can also plan Health Fairs in the community, take a senior out to lunch day and other activities. Looking forward to meeting all interested persons.

Hello all Brothers in Blue and fellow Motorcycle enthusiasts! We are a Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club that loves to ride with like minded people. This is a group for anyone who has a passion for riding, supporting charitable organizations like the Noble Heros Foundation, The Ride for Kids, The American Diabetes Association, and other Local and Law Enforcement Charities in the Community.

Calling all runners/walkers/joggers!! This is a social run of 1-6 miles. It is for beginners and advanced. We meet in the parking lot of Lifetime Fitness located 11555 Johns Creek Parkway in Johns Creek at 6:30 PM. We are usually out for about an hour or less. Again, all skill levels are welcome. I started this group to bring awareness to Diabetes through fitness. Looking forward to our social run together.
